Race description
The Tolvanloppet is a historic race for all ages, with children's races in the morning and an adult race at 12:30. There are two classes to choose from, 6 or 12 kilometers, with or without timing. The course is as beautiful as it is challenging (it's not completely flat…), starting and finishing on Ålstensgatan, which features perhaps the most impressive starting straight in Swedish racing. In between, runners navigate the streets of Bromma, where it feels like running through gardens in apple blossom. This experience is enhanced by the many neighbors who come out to cheer or even set up their own small water stations or sprinklers – each providing a refreshing touch in its own way. Among other things, this has given rise to the race's slogan: Stockholm's most charming running event.
Highlights
- The Tolvanloppet 12 km is a running race where the course is shaped like an eight and run in one lap.
- The surface is asphalt and there are four water stations along the course.
- On Ålstensgatan, the start and finish area is filled with runners, live music, cheering spectators, and a group warm-up.
